The explosives testing laboratory is a division of ECCEM LLP. It is accredited within Kazakhstan's technical regulation system to carry out physical and chemical testing of explosives and products based on them, including certification testing. The laboratory has its own test site, storage facilities for Class 1 products, and the equipment and software needed for instrumental control of drilling and blasting parameters and non-destructive testing of process equipment.
The ECCEM testing laboratory is independent of third parties, including manufacturers and users of explosives and government bodies. It holds permits for blasting for research purposes and a state licence to develop, manufacture, purchase and store industrial explosives and products based on them. All laboratory equipment and measuring instruments undergo periodic verification and calibration.
