The industrial safety expert and analytical department is an independent division of the company, certified to carry out industrial safety work in Kazakhstan.
The department works with hazardous production facilities in the mining, oil and gas, chemical and construction industries, where industrial explosives and products based on them are developed, manufactured, stored and used.
Explosives and products based on them must have a permit for continuous use issued by one of the authorised bodies of the EAEU.
The permit for continuous use is issued after the declared explosives have been tested in a laboratory.
The permit for continuous use is issued once, for a specific product brand from one manufacturer, with no expiry date.
We carry out expert reviews of explosives and products based on them so that they can be approved for continuous use across the EAEU.
We can carry out verification testing of explosives and products based on them in our own accredited laboratory, and we have the equipment and methods for testing newly developed explosives (Annex 4 to CU TR 028/2012).
To use technologies and hazardous technical devices legally at hazardous production facilities in Kazakhstan, a permit must be obtained from the authorised industrial safety body.
Permits for technologies and hazardous devices are issued after an expert examination by non-destructive testing specialists and on the basis of the corresponding expert review.
We carry out expert reviews of technologies and hazardous technical devices so that they can be approved for use at hazardous production facilities in Kazakhstan.
We have our own accredited non-destructive testing laboratory and a standard programme and methodology for examining hazardous technical devices, including mobile explosives stores, mixing and charging trucks, and mobile and stationary units for producing explosives and products based on them.
We assess the residual life of used hazardous technical devices or those past the manufacturer's service life, and determine whether they can continue to be operated safely.
We have our own accredited non-destructive testing laboratory and a standard programme and methodology for examining hazardous technical devices, including mobile explosives stores, mixing and charging trucks, and mobile and stationary units for producing explosives and products based on them.
Under the Law on Civil Protection, incidents and accidents at hazardous production facilities must be investigated.
At the request of the operating company, the authorised industrial safety body or investigative authorities, our experts carry out independent examinations of incident and accident sites at facilities where explosives are produced, stored and used.
The independent review results in an expert opinion setting out the likely causes of the incident, recommendations for dealing with its consequences and for preventing similar situations.
We also use our accredited laboratory, its equipment and methods to model possible or actual incidents and accidents at facilities where explosives, products based on them and their non-explosive components are produced, stored and used.
Our experts have solid hands-on experience of taking part in such investigations.
We carry out expert examinations, issuing an expert opinion, to determine the consumer properties of explosives and whether their storage or service life can be extended, in line with CU TR 028/2012 and the industrial safety rules for facilities carrying out blasting.
Explosives and products based on them must be tested by the user to confirm they are safe to store and use:
Explosives and products based on them may not be used or stored after their guaranteed shelf life without the testing required by the regulatory or technical documentation.
The audit is carried out by our qualified experts for owners of specialist companies, for potential buyers or investors in operating companies, before design or construction work, and when choosing a site for facilities where explosives are produced, stored and used.
Types of due diligence audit carried out:
The audit results in a report whose structure is agreed with the client in advance.
Developing regulatory and technical documentation so that industrial explosives and the related process equipment, technologies and hazardous devices can be used lawfully in Kazakhstan and the EAEU, and so that facilities where explosives are developed, made, stored and used are operated properly.
We develop technical specifications for explosives and their components.
A company standard (technical specification) is a document that sets out product characteristics and the rules and characteristics of design, production, construction, installation, commissioning, operation and sales processes, for voluntary repeated use.
A mandatory document across the EAEU when obtaining permits for continuous use of explosives and when certifying them.
We develop user manuals for explosives and products based on them in line with CU TR 028/2012.
The user manual must accompany finished explosives throughout their life cycle from the moment they are placed on the EAEU market.
A mandatory document across the EAEU when obtaining permits for continuous use of explosives and when certifying them.
We develop process regulations for producing and using explosives, their non-explosive components and products based on them, in line with CU TR 028/2012 and the technical regulation on the safety of explosives production processes.
Process regulations are a technical document setting out the process flow and parameters for producing and using explosives, their non-explosive components and products based on them, the characteristics of raw materials, auxiliary materials and finished products, and also operating conditions, safety rules and other requirements.
Process regulations are reviewed every five years, though in some cases they can be revised earlier or extended without revision.
A mandatory document across the EAEU when issuing permits for technologies and hazardous devices used at hazardous facilities, and when certifying explosives under production schemes.
Preparing, restoring and issuing duplicate data sheets for equipment and hazardous technical devices
We prepare, restore and issue duplicate data sheets for equipment and hazardous technical devices used to produce and apply explosives, their non-explosive components and products based on them.
The technical data sheet is a mandatory document and an integral part of the equipment and hazardous technical devices used to produce and apply explosives. It is issued by the manufacturer when the item is made and must be kept at the site at all times.
If the data sheet is lost, our specialists can reissue it.
We design the labelling for packaging and finished explosive products and fill it with the required information.
A mandatory requirement for finished products circulating in the EAEU. It is checked when issuing permits for continuous use and during certification.
Development takes into account UN requirements and the Law on Languages in Kazakhstan.
